Suppositories are solid dosage forms that are inserted either vaginally or rectally to deliver medications, such as cannabinoids, at the site of application. The suppository melts inside the body and is absorbed directly into the bloodstream allowing the medication to work quickly

How to Use (see image)

1-Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water and dry with a clean towel. If you are using vaginally, wash your vaginal area with a mild soap and water and dry thoroughly.

2-Remove the medication from the wrapper by gripping each tab and pulling back at the same time. Place it into the end of the applicator (for vaginal application, if needed).

3-Position your body so that you can comfortably access your vagina or rectum. Laying down or standing with one leg on a chair may help.

4-If needed, a few drops of water-based lubricant may be used to help make insertion easier.

5-Gently insert the suppository tapered-end first with a clean finger or with the applicator. For vaginal insertion, insert the applicator as far as it will comfortably go, then push the plunger until it stops. For anal insertion, insert the suppository about one (1) inch into the rectum.

6-The suppository will dissolve within 10-15 minutes. It is recommended that you remain laying flat for at least 30 minutes so that the medicine can be absorbed. As it dissolves, some product can leak out. If this is a concern, a pad or liner can be worn. Wash hands when finished.
